MavixC Topical Collagen Powder Wound Dressing
MavixC is an absorbent topical dressing made matrix of microfibrillar collagen, indicted for the management of moderate to severe exudating wounds, and for the control of minor hemorrhaging.
MavixC helps to create a favorable physiological environment to support wound healing. The MavixC formulation preserves the structural and functional characteristics of collagen. Certain products that are on the market, such as denatured collagen or hydrolyzed collagen, have their original molecular structure altered. MavixC is made with an absorbent microfibrillary collagen formulation, which assists a favorable physiological environment for wound healing.
MavixC is applied directly to the wound, protecting the wound bed and the new delicate tissue.
In addition, because is derived from microfibrils of collagen, it is an excellent topical application for wounds located in areas where constant range of motion may impact the ability for collagen sheets to remain intact, or for wounds located in places difficult to reach or awkward to place a sheet topical dressing period.
